The farm is in a pristine rural location with nutrient dense red basalt soil and exposure to cool weather, as a result the herbs expresses more of the therapeutic compounds we want as a way of protecting itself. No pesticides, chemicals or fertilisers are ever used, we work in reciprocity with the land giving back organically, rotating crops and ensuring that it has high nutrient activity.
