Are your herbs 100% Australian grown?
Yes, we are proudly Australian grown, single origin and farm to both. We do not, and never will any imported herbs. 99.9% of the market is imported herbs, Adaptual exists to challenge this and provide the community with exclusively Australian grown herbal remedies.
Why Australian grown
Put simply, imported herbs are old, low quality and not optimal for health goals. Something not spoken about enough is the fact that imported herbs undergo treatments for biosecurity. This means that herbs can be irritated, sprayed or gassed. Another major reason for Adaptual's existence.
Working as a food technologist, I saw the state of the import system and decided that local Australian produce and herbs is the only way.
Are all your herbs organic?
Yes all of our herbs are 100% organic, in fact no chemicals are used at the farm. We use soil first organic farming methods and work in reciprocity with nature to ensure that the soil is as nutrient rich as possible.
Why amber bottles
Amber bottles provide UV protection. Sufficient UV is essential to preserve the beneficial compounds in the herbs.
Why is extraction important
For herbs to reach their full potential, extraction is essential. Without extraction the tough cell walls within a herb, root or mushroom prevent our bodies from utilising and accessing the beneficial compounds.
Extraction can be in the form of a tincture, glycetract, tea or decoction.
